I haven't updated in a looong time. Many thanks to Cabaret for that one. So today I'm gonna go see all my little homies in Honk, and then another Cabaret show. And then tomorrow I'll be performing in a voice recital before possibly seeing Honk again and then another Cabaret rehearsal. All the while in between I will be studying like a madman for History. Which is what I'm procrastinating right now with this meme.

OMGWTF LOST SEASON FINALE?!
SO CONFUSED.
My poor Dezzy (Desmond) might be dead! I HATE CLIFFHANGERS. BE CONCLUSIVE DAMMIT.
Not to mention Eko/Jack/Kate/Sawyer.
I kinda totally didn't understand the end. I'm thinking that Penny's dad heads up DHARMA or something? But I'm having a hard time putting together the whole Electromagnetic Anamoly, Desmond, Penny thing.
And the House finale totally sucked. For those of you who didn't watch it, the entire episode was a dream. WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT OF A FINALE WHERE NOTHING HAPPENS?! Well, I mean, other than the fact that House was shot...
I have a math test tomorrow. First block. Having a math test first block, especially the day after the Lost Season Finale, is like waking up and having a brick thrown at your head. Not fun.

Lets play rate my however long its been since I last updated...only skipping the minuses because those are boring.
+I attended a party that Matt LeBlanc (Joey, from friends)'s Mom was at! I didn't actually get to meet her because I forgot to ask my friend (who is matt LeBlanc's third cousin) to introduce her to me before she left
+++ Lost and House on the SAME NIGHT. Double the awesome.
++++++++++ ANALUCIA IS FINALLY DEAD!!! Seriously, the moment Micheal shot her was the happiest moment of my life. Whenever I feel bad, I just remind myself that Analucia is no longer living, and I instantly feel better.
+++++++ My mom was feeling kind of depressed because my dog was being obnoxious, and she stayed in bed until three in the afternoon. Well, to make her feel better. Abby and I, with some help from Abby's dad, made my parents a big dinner which tasted fabulous, if I do say so meself. Then, to even further cheer her up we made her a list of "40 1/2 Reasons Why You're Awesome." Abby wrote "Because you like Abby" about three times, one of which was the 40.5 reason. She also altered some of the things by adding in stuff such as "You love your family (And Abby)." Ah, fun stuff.
++ I had two free blocks Friday
+ I had a full luch yesterday after it was taken from me for a whole quarter by Mrs. Belcher.
+++I have discovered my love for rugby and scrumming. dittany and I are the greatest scrummers EVER!

OMG GUESS WHAT GUYS: I ACTUALLY STARTED MY HOMEWORK RIGHT WHEN I GOT HOME and that means that, now that its done at a reasonable hour, I have an hour or two before rehearsal. And so, with this time, I decided to upload some of my lovely NYC pictures and thought I should post some of them on here.
 
These are some pictures from the roof of my hotel. My camera actually ran out of batteries before I could get to the very top.
Glowy hotel sign. I would recommend this hotel for anyone going to NY. It was pretty nifty.
Seasons of loooooooove!
This is that thing they built at the place near where John Lennon was killed. I just thought this was a funky picture.

Oh! Speaking of that (kind of), My mom too some reeeeally good pictures of Times Square at night with my camera. But, being as incredibly observant as we are, neither of us noticed that my camera was set to movie mode. So now we have some pretty awesome videos of me looking at the shiny neon lights in Times Square, only I can't post them here...
Anywho,
A Really awesome chocolate store in Times Square. I don't know about you, but that is the sexiest store I've ever seen.
A TOTALLY AWESOME RESTAURANT. The food isn't that great, but the waiters and waitresses sing! It's really cool. My waiter was a really good singer too!
Central Park.
Bethesda Fountain. Otherwise known as THE GODSPELL FOUNTAIN! if you didn't know, in the first scene of the movie Godspell they sing a really awesome, upbeat song and they all start dancing and splashing around in the water. And John the Baptist who is the most amazing guy ever (in the movie, I have no idea who he is historically) stands up on the top of it next to that... guy... thing
Me taking advantage of the fact that there's no water in the fountain this time of year and calling my friend and fellow Godspell fan.
The next day, my mom and I went back to the fountain pretty early in the morning so that there wouldn't be people in there and I was running around inside the fountain and stuff and then, all of a sudden, three tour groups all came around different corners at the same time! I got scared and ran for my life... and my mom took pictures of me doing it...
Now for the part where I talk about the shows I went to see!
OKAY first I saw Avenue Q which, sadly, I forgot to take pictures of the theatre. For anyone who doesn't know Avenue Q it was written by I think some of the actors from Sesame Street who got tired of always being all goody-goody and making Children's jokes all the time so they decided to write a musical with puppets that deals with real, adult issues and it is HILARIOUS! I was laughing hysterically the whole time. The guy who played Nicky/Trekkie/Bad Idea Bear (which happen to be my favorite characters) were played by some tall guy with cool hair and he was SO GOOD! The whole cast was amazingly talented. And I discovered that, bac when I was in Into the Woods, our rights were pulled becuase another theatre was doing the same production. Well I went to see that production, and it was really good. But anyway, the guy who played Brian was the same guy who played the baker in Into the Woods!
I thought it was a pretty cool coincidence.
Next I went to Rent!
 
Rent was also amazing! I think the fact that now the movie's out so that people, like me, who did not get to see the OBC knows how amazing it was, makes it pretty hard to live up to what people expect when they go see it. But, all things in consideration, it was really really good! The guy who played Rojer was reeeeally intense and screamed half of his songs, but it made an interesting effect. Mark was also really good, he made Mark slightly more...insane that it seems like he is in the movie, which was funny.
So later that day, me and my mom were feeling spontaneous and cool, so we got tickets to see...
SWEENEY TODD!
It was a really good show but kind of really really creepy. It was pretty funny, especially at the beginning. The music was great, I have to give Sondheim his props, but a show about a mass murderer isn't the most pleasant thing in the world. Especially when you see it RIGHT before you go to bed... like I did... Oh! But I was really proud of myself becuase I finally saw a show with the original broadway cast (I think...)!
WOW that was a really really really long entry. As to not make it any longer, plus the fact that I was supposed to leave for rehearsal five minutes ago... Adios!

I took that test the other day and all the questions were PERFECT. Other than trying to determine what animal anolinde was, I came up with awesome answers to every single question. But then... the window closed! And all my beautiful responses were lost!

Some other interesting news:
-KEVIN GOT VOTED OFF AMERICAN IDOL!!! HE WAS MY FAVORITE! HE WAS SO CUTE (In like a little person way)! AND HE HAD A GORGEOUS VOICE! I <3 CHICKEN LITTLE!
- So I was watching American Idol (This is before I knew Kevin was going) and there was this sign that said "ACTS from Concord, MA has the McPheever" and I was like WOOOOOW. Because, for those of you who don't know, ACTS is where I do all my shows. So I call my amiga who also does ACTS and she told be that it was two peeps I know! And that made me feel special
- I want to join (another): Chorus, Theatre Company, Acting Class. If any of you have good suggestions for any of these (Which I doubt most of you do) leave a comment!
- I saw Romeo and Juliet today. I think I might have been the only person in the whole school who actually, truly enjoyed it. I really did. (I just sounded like Holden Caulfied there) I can get really critical of theatre and such. And when that happens I can't shut up. So I'm not even going to start. Actually I will, but only for one second. One thing that really really annoyed me was that they all seemed to think that putting their coats on and not putting their arms in the sleeves so that they looked fat and armless and like the people in the matrix was a smart thing to do. WHY!? I bet they just did it to piss me off...
-My puppy is the spawn of satan. But still incredebly adorable.

Hola peeps
I decided not to go to dance today because I didn't feel like it and I have other stuff to do. So instead I'll spend my few minutes of free time writing an eLJay entry!. Lately my life should be really awesome but it's just... not. Let me give an example of the potential awesomeness:
Awesome: I had a pretty good Cabaret audition and the cast list FINALLY came after FOUR WHOLE DAYS of waiting.
Not so Awesome: I'm in the ensemble
Awesome: My voice teacher wants me to go to this really famous conservatory of music in Ohio for a summer camp thing for a week to study voice stuff. Not that I couldn't go just if I wanted to, but it sounds pretty awesome!
Not So Awesome: It is a direct hit with my theatre camp that I've been promising my friends I would go back to. I couldn't make a day of the thing in Ohio even if I tried.
Awesome: A chorus that I'm in got invited to sing in China!!! This was like the most exciting thing I've heard in a looong time. It was entirely paid for by local government sponsors. We would go around to sing at schools and stuff in south China and it would just be SO FUN. It would have conflicted with two weeks of school right before finals, not to mention cabaret rehearsals, but I knew that something could be arranged so that I could do both.
Not so Awesome: The Chinese guy who is in charge of it didn't inform us of the deadline by which we had to tell him whether or not we were going and we missed it. So his invitation was "withdrawn." I was like about to cry. Actually I wasn't, but I was pretty sad anyways. They said that now "We have a good conecction with China" and "They will seriously consider inviting us next year." Like hell they will.
Alright that's my rant. Hope you enjoyed it!
I could probably keep talking for hours but I have a Cabaret Rehearsal to get to.

I really don't feel like writing my English paper right now or studying for the effing stupid spanish quiz that the evil new teacher scheduled for tomorrow. When I also have a math test. That I also have to study for. Anywho I'm beginning to feel rather sick again and it's not very inspiring in terms of getting homework done. I reeeeally wanna talk about my weekend, which is much more pleasant to think about than my three tests and paper due tomorrow, but then what would I talk about after my weekend? Maybe I'll just give you a little preview...
Friday: After the tests and such, I have my Cabaret audition... Still haven't learned my audition piece... And I'm sick... But it's all good.
Saturday: SEEING SPAMALOT!!! WITH MY AWESOME COUSIN SARAH!!!
Sunday: YpM Concert, I'm one of two first sopranos in my section of the choir since one of us won't be there. W00T!
Okay the Motrin still hasn't taken effect... and It's taken me like a half hour to write this entry... so I still feel sick... Ah well...

HAHA, I pwn at that.
I have a new puppy! His name is Murphy and he is the cutest thing ever! I would post a picture of him, but we've only had him two (technically one and a half) days and all my mictures are either a. not on the computer or b. suck. Basically he's like a little fat golden fluffball who bounces around a lot then gets really tired and falls asleep on some part of your body for a few minutes then repeats the process... over and over and over. He's SOOOO cute though, I can't wait to post pictures of him on here!
Cabaret auditions are next week! And I'm rather scared becuase my voice teacher is in the Hospital and has been for a while, and I've had like one voice lesson on the past month, not a sufficient amount of time to even pick an audition piece, let alone make me sound good at the audition. I also can't dance. At all. And it sucks becuase Cabaret is a huuuuge dancing show and if I get an ensemble part, which I will becuase I'm the youngest again because of the stupid split cast, I'll have virtually no stagetime at all since I can't dance. So basically I'm completely screwed. If anyone cares / has any idea as to what I should sing for my audition piece, suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I got a Cabaret soundtrack thought, the music is all really low and raunchy and flashy and nightclubby (That's where it primarily takes place). It's SO funny though:

Vacation is almost over! And I am very sad. Let's see what Amy spent it doing
Saturday: Went to Lexington with Abby to buy mi madre some awesome presents, then went to see Pink Panther with a bunch of the Godspell cast. PINK PANTHER = FUNNIEST MOVIE EVER Everyone go see it, it's awesome! Then off to Tee's for a sleepover with Gorgeous.
Sunday: My madre's birthday! Spent some time with Tee before going home to celebrate!
Monday: Went to the Burlington Mall with the Nicknamers and got an awesome shirt that says :I don't suffer from insanity... I enjoy every minute of it." Moose got a matching one so we can be awesome together. Then we went to Alissa's house for a sleepover where we got like not even an hour of sleep...
Tuesday: The nicknamers headed to mi casa where we watched a lot of the previous ACTS productions. Then me and Tee went to Not Your Average Joes for Linner or Dunch or whatever you'd like to call it.
Wednesday: Snow Tubing with the Godspell Cast! And after we watched PotC at her house, which was also awesome! Then went to Gorgeous' house for a sleepover witht the nicknamed crew. We watched Rent and I had to explain to everyone what was going on because no one could figure it out... ANGEL + COLLINS = OTP.
Thursday: Our plans to go to the ginormous mall in Rhode Island were cancelled thanks to Alissa's brother being sick, so we got our nails done instead. Mine are blue and raelly pretty looking.
Friday: Went to the mall in Rhode Island with the nicknamers minus Moose because she couldn't go on the new day. I bought Rent!
Saturday: Watched Godspell with the madre, saw Brian in Joseph with Moose and got lost on the way there...
So including today... I saw at least two of my Godspell friends 8 days out of 9. Awesome!

Move Along- All-American Rejects |

Most of you probably won't care about it, but I wanted a way for Teenie and Gorgeous to see these pictures.
Yesterday was awesome! Me, Teenie, Gorgeous, Moose, Melissa, and Brian all went to see Pink Panther it was an AWESOME MOVIE, I really wanted to see it but kinda expected it to be stupid, but it was totally the most hilarious movie EVER!
Anywho, after, Gorgeous and I went to Tee's house and slept over and took some pretty awesome pictures, which I am posting here so Teenie and Gorgeous (or anyone else who cares...) can see them. Gorgeous straightened my hair and it looked AWESOME but my photobucket hates me and it keeps making my pictures look weird, which sucks becuase Gorgeous made it look so sexy.
My photobucket was being REALLY mean, so a lot of them are tiny too.
